1. If you purchased LaserMerge after December 1, 1996:
   • The upgrade is free-of-charge.
   • If you did not purchase LaserMerge directly from MindGate, you must send us proof-of-purchase to qualify for the free upgrade.
     
2. If you purchased LaserMerge before December 1, 1996:
   • The upgrade fee is $25.00 (plus shipping-- $5.00 for US addresses; airmail rate for all foreign shipments).
   • The upgrade fee for site license owners is $1.00 per site license.

      LaserMerge => PrintChef:

This program will convert your LaserMerge templates into PrintChef printing styles. The original LaserMerge templates will not be destroyed. Instead, a copy of the template is made with the proper PrintChef resources added to make them compatible.

When running this program, you have the option of converting a single template, or of converting all templates located in the current folder. The converter will not recognize PrintChef printing styles, so you need not worry about damaging them.
