This page describes the policies, upgrades,
and guarantees that will apply to you
as an owner of MindGate's software.

MindGate software upgrades come in two forms:
(1) soft upgrades, and (2) feature upgrades.


Software Upgrades

Software Upgrades occur when MindGate makes corrections to fix bugs in existing software. These upgrades can be downloaded free-of-charge from the Internet or will be mailesd for a nominal $5.00 fee for US and Canadian customers and at $4.00 plus the cost of shipping to other worldwide customers. All networked units can be upgraded from the same disk without charge.

Feature Upgrades 		Feature Upgrade changes involve adding new features to the program and will be available at approximately 30% of the list price. They typically require the shipment of new manuals and disks to satisfy the changes. Networked units can be upgraded at the rate of 5% of the list network price ($1.00 minimum) for the first 50 units. Upgrade of remaining networked units is free-of-charge.
